Maa Durga will soon be in our midst and we have waited for this time all year long! We can hardly wait to see you all and celebrate together at the newly renovated facilities of the Duarte Performing Arts Center on October 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2014. Come for the puja, and stay back for the adda, the food, and the entertainment programs.

We are planning an absolutely fantastic celebration this year with jibhe jol asha khabar, stunning professional entertainment, and enthralling performances from our local artists. The acclaimed singing sensation Arnab Chakraborty will mesmerize the audience on Saturday night, October 4th, 2014. The popular singer, Tollywood actor Saheb Chatterjee, will grace the stage on Lakshmi Puja, October 11th.
We expect a full house for both performances and will have assigned seating for these programs. Seats will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Please register early by sending in your contribution checks to get the best seats in the auditorium. The full schedule of all Puja and entertainment events is here. We are also proud to announce that, a rising star in the realm of classical music, Ivy Banerjee will be performing onstage on Friday, October 3rd.

Seats will be allocated on payment by check or receiving the pledge for sponsors only. BASC will deposit the checks only a week before Durga Puja.
As you are fully aware the economic downturn has impacted our budget and we need your wholehearted support to help us remain a vibrant and active organization.
We are pleased to announce that this is the 20th year for the Children's Art Contest. Following the BASC tradition, this year also it will be held on Saturday October 4th from 1:30 - 3:30 PM in the front Lobby of the Performing Arts Center. Please note that BASC will provide all necessary art materials. So you do not need to bring anything. Just bring your children and their happy faces and have lots of fun.
