Edmonton Bengali Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1979 with an aim to create opportunities to promote & provide quality educational, social & cultural activities within the Bengali community in & around Edmonton, Canada. While promotion of cultural heritage is our prime goal, community development through more youth participation is our dream. Learning & practicing Bengali language is another key focus area of our activities through our Bengali School. We retain in our heart the contribution of great souls of Bengal.

The goals of the Edmonton Bengali Association are :
Create awareness of the Bengali culture and history in the community
Promote cultural and educational activities in the Edmonton area
Provide community service within the Edmonton area
Provide a platform for social and business networking
Promote the involvement of youth in its various programs
Promote cooperative programs with other community services organizations
