To commemorate the occasion, we will re-create a "ghoroya" style pujo for your BNE family. Our puja days will begin with traditional pujo in all its fervor, followed by anjali and sumptuous food mixed with “golpo gujab”. The days will end with “Mon bholano aar Mon matano” cultural program presented by renowned artists from India as well as our elite local artists.
Bengalees of New England (BNE) is an association of people in Greater Boston, whose mother tongue is Bengali — or who are otherwise interested in the heritage of Bengal. Our aim is to promote traditional and modern art forms of Bengalees, including (but not limited to) language, customs, dress, food, music, dance, poetry, drama, literature. BNE builds and fosters friendship and understanding between the people of Bengal, India and other countries.
BNE is an organization for all dyed-in-the-wool Bengalees, living in picturesque New England, enjoying every morsel of Bengali delicacies, honoring their plush heritage and proud of their 'Bong Connection'
