Durga Puja - Ankur Club, Leicester
Ankur Club was established on 14th. April 1996.
Ankur is a vibrant cultural community which aims to promote Indian culture, such as art, music, dance, literature and language amongst various people of diverse beliefs, cultures and religions in the Midlands and beyond. It is also the desire of the club to create amongst the younger generation an appreciation of and a keen interest in its rich cultural heritage.
We, the members of Ankur, hope to establish a real sense of identity and unity within our membership , whilst at the same time strengthening the bonds of friendship, co-operation and cultural exchange with the wider community of the United Kingdom.
