Bengali Cultural Association of Peterborough was founded in 1987 with few Bengali families living in Peterborough. Over the years it has grown in size and stature. The Association has been promoting Bengali culture in the UK since it’s inception. We organise Bengali festivals and cultural events all through the year.
Using performing art as a medium, we have raised awareness about cultural diversity and created opportunities for local communities to experience different aspects of ethnic Bengali & Indian culture firsthand. We also bring out an annual publication at Durga Puja which showcases our cultural heritage.
